The short version

Enhance now has three serious paddle families, and they do not feel the same. MPP Turbo is the loudest and liveliest. EPP Turbo is still powerful, but a little calmer and easier to trust. DUO is the denser, more connected line for players who want foam power without as much hollow trampoline feel.

All three families now give you the same basic shape choice: elongated for reach, hybrid for balance, and widebody for forgiveness. That matters more than most players think. The widebody versions are the ones we would start most doubles players on.

MPP Turbo: the lively one

The MPP Turbo line uses a softer MPP foam center with an EVA perimeter ring. On court, that translates to a crisp, hollow response with easy pop on counters and speed-ups. If you like a paddle that gives the ball back quickly, MPP is the fun one.

The tradeoff is touch. The same energy return that makes speed-ups jump can make resets a little touchy, especially in the elongated shape. The MPP Widebody fixes a lot of that by adding hand speed and a bigger sweet spot.

EPP Turbo: the safer budget pick

EPP Turbo still has the floating foam construction and CFC/T700 face, but the feel is a little more planted. It is the easier recommendation for players moving from a traditional paddle into foam for the first time.

The EPP Widebody is probably the easiest Turbo to recommend overall. It gives you the $99 value story, fast hands, a bigger face, and enough pop to still attack. The Hybrid LH is the interesting option if you need the 5.9-inch handle for two-handed backhands.

DUO: the dense, connected line

DUO costs more than Turbo, but it also feels different. The EPP/EVA DuoFoam Ridge Core gives the paddle a denser and more connected response. It is still a power paddle, but the ball does not feel quite as wild off the face.

The DUO Widebody is the one we like most for doubles. It keeps the controlled foam feel while making blocks, counters, and off-center contact easier. The Hybrid LH is the DUO pick for two-handers, while the Elongated is best if you care most about reach and leverage.

Which shape should you buy?

  • Elongated: best for reach, serves, drives, and two-handed backhands; slowest in hands battles.
  • Hybrid / Hybrid LH: best if you want a middle-ground shape or need extra handle length.
  • Widebody: best for most doubles players because it gives the biggest sweet spot, fastest hands, and easiest blocks.
  • If you are unsure, buy the widebody. It is the least risky shape in every Enhance family.

Bottom line

For budget power, buy MPP Turbo Widebody. For the safest budget foam recommendation, buy EPP Turbo Widebody. For the best premium Enhance doubles paddle, buy DUO Widebody. Turbo line: $99.99 with code PRH. DUO line: $155 with code PRH ($20 off). Shop via our Enhance /PRH link.
