How It Plays
Spin and power lead this one.
Against our database
Compared with the 126 paddles we have scored.
On-Court Feel
The LAZR-16X Full Foam has a controlled-aggression feel. The Kevlar layer takes some harshness off contact, the dual-density foam adds dwell, and the elongated shape still gives enough leverage for drives. It is not a pure power cannon, and that is the point: you can swing hard without feeling like the ball is going to launch unpredictably. Hands speed is solid for an elongated frame, but the listed ~117 swing weight means it is not trying to be the fastest kitchen paddle in the category.
Performance & Testing
The GRUVN LAZR-16X Full Foam went through our standard on-court protocol - drills, rec play, and at least one tournament match. How it plays reflects consensus feedback from the group, not a single reviewer's opinion.
Grit & Durability
The Kevlar and T700 carbon face starts with strong bite, while the full-foam build felt tight through early testing. Long-term grit life still needs more hours before we can call it proven. GRUVN lists a 6-month manufacturing-defect warranty.
Who It's For
Best for drivers, hybrid attackers, and all-court players who want foam-core dwell with more power than the MUVN. Skip it if you want maximum soft-game control, the lightest possible hands speed, or a top-tier twist-weight forgiveness number.
- you want plow-through on drives and serves: a ~117 swing weight
- Forgiveness comes first for you. The Spartus Spitfire Elongated is stronger there ($98.99 with PRH).

Bottom Line
The LAZR-16X Full Foam is the safer all-court GRUVN pick if you want power first and control second.
If you like elongated paddles and want a foam-core build that still lets you attack, the LAZR-16X Full Foam belongs on your shortlist. The MUVN is better for control-and-spin players; the LAZR is better if you want more pace.
