11SIX24 Power 2 Shapes Compared: Ultre vs Vapor vs Pegasus vs Hurache-X
Last updated: September 2026
Four shapes, one HexGrit story — and the Ultre-vs-Vapor call most buyers get wrong.
Buy the 11SIX24 Ultre Power 2 if you want the best paddle in the line: it scores highest overall (8.8), spins hardest of the four at ~2,381 RPM, and its flat top holds pace better on off-center contact than the curved-top Vapor. Take the Vapor Power 2 (8.7) instead if you want quicker hands — it swings 111 against the Ultre's 115. The Pegasus Power 2 (8.6) is the widebody doubles pick with the highest twist weight (7.0), and the Hurache-X Power 2 (8.5) is the elongated reach option with the lowest (5.9). All four list at $209.99 and cost $199.99 with code PRH at 11SIX24 ($10 off), UPA-A approved with a 12-month warranty.

Ultre vs Vapor — the choice most Power 2 buyers are actually making
Pegasus and Hurache-X sort themselves out: one is a widebody, the other is elongated, and most players already know which of those they want. The genuinely difficult call in this line is Ultre against Vapor, because both are hybrids at the same price and the spec sheets look close.
The separator is the top of the paddle. Vapor uses a curved top; Ultre uses a conventional flat top. That is why the Ultre holds pace better when you are late on a speed-up — the hitting surface stays wider higher up the face — while the Vapor rewards a cleaner strike. Both carry the same 6.7 twist weight, so the difference shows up in where on the face you can afford to miss, not in how much the paddle twists when you do.
The second separator is swing weight: 111 on the Vapor against 115.2 on the Ultre. Four points is not dramatic, but it is the difference between a paddle that feels quick in a hands battle and one that feels planted through a drive. Add the Ultre's longer 5.75" handle against the Vapor's 5.5" and the Ultre is the more stable, slightly more deliberate paddle of the two.
Spin is where the gap is widest and least expected: we logged ~2,381 RPM on the Ultre against ~2,141 RPM on the Vapor. Same HexGrit surface, same core, meaningfully different numbers. If spin is the reason you are looking at 11SIX24 at all, that alone decides it.
Short version: Ultre if you miss off-center or want maximum spin; Vapor if you want the fastest hands in the line. Neither is a mistake at $199.99 with PRH.
Ultre Power 2 — best overall, and the most spin we measured
The Ultre is the highest-scoring paddle in the Power 2 family at 8.8 overall, and it earns that on two numbers: 9.3 spin and 8.8 power. It is the flat-top answer to a complaint people had about the Vapor — that the curved top punished contact you did not fully control.
It is not the touch paddle of the group. Control scores 8.3, and MPP foam is not forgiving of a lazy drop; sloppy resets float. Play it as a power-and-spin paddle and it is excellent. Ask it to be a soft-game specialist and the Pegasus will beat it.
One planning note before you order: our data has the Ultre logged as UPA-A only. If you have a USAP-sanctioned event on the calendar, check the current approval list before you commit.
Vapor Power 2 — the fastest hands in the line
The Vapor is the shape most people should still start with if they are undecided between hybrids and do not have a specific complaint to solve. It is the lightest-swinging hybrid at 111, has the highest maneuverability score in the family outside the Pegasus (9.0), and its 6.7 twist weight keeps it stable enough for real doubles.
The trade-off against the Ultre is spin and off-center tolerance; the trade-off against the Pegasus is forgiveness. What you get back is hand speed, and in a fast kitchen exchange that is worth more than a spin number on a chart.
Pegasus Power 2 — most forgiving, best for doubles
The Pegasus is the widebody, and it wins the two numbers that decide doubles paddles: 7.0 twist weight (the highest here) and 108 swing weight (the lowest here). That combination is why it scores 9.2 forgiveness and 9.3 maneuverability, both class-leading in the family.
You pay for it in reach and in put-away leverage — 8.3 power is the lowest of the four. If your points end at the kitchen rather than from the baseline, that is a trade worth making. If you like ending points with a drive, it is not.
Hurache-X Power 2 — reach and two-handed backhands
The Hurache-X is the elongated shape, with the best put-away leverage (8.7 pop, 8.8 power) and the reach that comes with the silhouette. Its 5.75" handle suits two-handed backhands.
The cost is stated plainly on its scorecard: 5.9 twist weight and 8.0 forgiveness, both the lowest in the family, and 8.2 maneuverability. Buy it because you already know you want an elongated paddle, not because it looks like the most aggressive option on paper.
Power 2 or Jelly Bean 2? Read this before you order
11SIX24 sells two current families, and the Power 2 is no longer the automatic answer. The Jelly Bean 2 line uses softer EMA foam, measures higher for spin across every shape, scores higher overall — the JB2 Pegasus is 9.0 to the Power 2 Ultre's 8.8 — and costs $40 less at $159.99 with PRH.
Power 2 is still the right buy if you want the hotter, more explosive paddle: it is the more powerful family and it hits a firmer ball. Jelly Bean 2 is the right buy if you want dwell, control and spin, and are happy to generate your own pace. If you are not sure which of those describes you, start with our which 11SIX24 paddle should you buy tree.
What the Power 2 line does well
- HexGrit surface built for spin that survives more than a few weeks of play.
- Strong measured RPM across the family, and a genuine standout on the Ultre.
- $199.99 with code PRH (Save $10) against a $209.99 list.
- 12-month warranty and UPA-A approval.
- Real value against paddles in the $230–$280 band.
Where the Power 2 line falls short
These are good paddles rather than must-buy elite ones. Feel does not blow us away the way the best foam paddles do, and the whole family asks for clean contact on resets and soft-game shots. The power is real; it does not fully cancel out the control and feel trade-offs against the very top of our rankings.
The other honest caveat is internal: 11SIX24's own Jelly Bean 2 line outscores every Power 2 shape while costing $40 less. Power 2 wins on firepower, not on value.

Which Power 2 should you buy?
- Best paddle in the line, most spin, best off-center: Ultre Power 2.
- Fastest hands, lightest hybrid swing: Vapor Power 2.
- Doubles, kitchen play, most forgiving: Pegasus Power 2.
- Reach, singles, two-handed backhands: Hurache-X Power 2.
- Same price whichever you choose — $199.99 with code PRH at 11SIX24.
Final verdict
The Ultre Power 2 is the best paddle in the family and the one we would order first — highest overall score, most spin, and the flat top that fixes the Vapor's one real weakness. The Vapor stays the pick for players who value hand speed above everything, the Pegasus is the cleanest doubles paddle here, and the Hurache-X is for players who already know they want elongated.
At $199.99 with code PRH, all four are fairly priced. Just read the Jelly Bean 2 comparison before you check out — it outscores this line for $40 less, and for a lot of players it is the better buy.
