The Verdict
The missing Q2 shape: a flat-top hybrid between widebody and elongated.
It took us one session to stop treating this like a widebody with extra length. The flat top is the whole point.

On-Court Feel
Same firm, connected Q2 foam we already play on Widebody and Elongated, not the muted pillow a lot of foam paddles have. Drives still pay you for a full swing. Soft game is manageable if your hands are clean.
The flat top puts a little more mass at the tip than a rounded hybrid. That should read as extra plow on a drive without going full elongated. Hands will not feel as light as the 107-SW Widebody. My brother kept asking if this was just the Widebody with a different sticker. It is not. The outline is longer; the kitchen is a bit more work.
Performance & Testing
The RPM Q2 Hybrid Flat Top 16mm went through our standard on-court protocol - drills, rec play, and at least one tournament match. How it plays reflects consensus feedback from the group, not a single reviewer's opinion.
Grit & Durability
Same Q2 full-foam story. Standard carbon grit, not an endurance face. Code PRH is 15% at rpmpb.com/PRH, a bigger cut than most brands' 10%. Confirm $212.49 on the payment screen.
Who It's For
Doubles and mixed players who want Q2 power but already bounce off a true widebody or find elongated a little twitchy.
Skip if you already decided on Q2 Widebody (still our default RPM). Skip elongated only if you live on serve + reach. Skip this shape if $212 after the code is over budget. Look at Friday Aura or Enhance Turbo first.
- power matters most to you (top 11% of the paddles we have scored)
- you want one of our top-rated paddles (top 13% overall)
- pop matters most to you (top 14% of the paddles we have scored)

- Not as forgiving as Q2 Widebody
- Not as much reach as Q2 Elongated
- Premium ticket vs Friday / Enhance
- Stock has been sold-out / tight on the PDP
