X2 Pro is Engage's heavier, grittier elongated 16mm foam: 2,373 RPM spin, swing weight 124.3, very head-heavy. More texture and plow than the standard X2 elongated; much harder to whip. $259.99 or ~$234 with PRH. UPA-A. Our default Engage remains the standard X2 elongated.
The Verdict
The X2 that spins more and swings like a truck.
We kept reaching for this one on serve days, then swapped back to the regular X2 elongated when hands sped up.

How It Plays
Spin leads this one.
Against our database
Compared with the 126 paddles we have scored.
- Top 12% for spin
- Top 19% for power
- Top 20% for overall score
On-Court Feel
Same family pocket as X2, with a rougher face (~8.6 µm class) that really loads spin on full swings. Serves and roll balls jump. Firepower sits mid-high 60s. Not Black Opal chaotic, but more than enough.
Swing weight 124.3 is the story. Kitchen counters are late unless you are already a big-swinger. Twist weight 6.3 is only average, so this is not a forgiveness paddle. If you liked X2 elongated at SW ~115, try that first.
Performance & Testing
The Engage X2 Pro 16mm went through our standard on-court protocol - drills, rec play, and at least one tournament match. How it plays reflects consensus feedback from the group, not a single reviewer's opinion.
Grit & Durability
Durable-grit carbon on thermoformed foam. Engage lifetime defect warranty is a plus at $260. Face still wants a wipe. Code PRH is 10% on engagepickleball.com/PRH.
Who It's For
High-level players who want maximum X2 spin and do not mind a heavy, head-heavy elongated.
Skip if you play fast doubles hands, are still grooving contact, or want USAP on this exact model. The Pro is UPA-A in our notes. Regular X2 elongated is the better first Engage.

Bottom Line
A specialist X2: elite spin, brutal swing weight. Not the Engage we start people on.
Same PRH 10% as the rest of Engage. If you are unsure, buy the standard X2 elongated. Come back to Pro only after you know you want more grit and more mass.
